Join us for an engaging virtual networking session following the talk, Preserving the Past and Shaping the Future, starting at 6 PM PT. This session brings together a diverse group of creative professionals exploring AI and related technologies in their fields. Designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing, attendees will participate in multiple networking rounds to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss topics such as AI applications, tools, techniques, and more.This interactive format encourages meaningful conversations and helps build lasting professional connections within our community.

Day of Instructions:

How to Participate in the 1:1 Match Event

This event doesn’t have a video stream or meeting room. Instead, members are matched with each other throughout the event.

Steps to Join:

1. Go to the event landing page and click Join Event.
2. Click Get Started and confirm your microphone and video settings.
3. Click Join Now to enter the event.

Matching Process:

1. If a match is found, you'll see their name, profile picture, role, and company.
2. Want to connect? Click Join Video Call within 30 seconds. The call will last 10 minutes, with the option to extend or leave anytime. We recommend doing 5 minute calls to maximize your interactions!
3. Not interested? Just do nothing, and you'll be put back in the queue. The other member won’t be notified.
4. If no match is available, you'll see a “Working on the magic” page with an estimated wait time.
5. You can leave and the system will notify you when a match is found.
6. To return, click Match from the left menu.
7. If you want to stop matching, click Cancel on the waiting page.

Helpful Information:

1. There is a chat box in each match session and that chat language will be accessible to you (and your match mate) after the call.
2. If you decline a match with a suggested member, they will not be informed of that.
3. You will not match again with a previous match.
4. You can find your match history by selecting ‘History’ on the right-hand side menu.
