About the Talk:

Convened during Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this OpenAI Forum will explore how Ireland and Europe can seize the opportunities of AI to strengthen their economies, improve public services and compete globally.

George Osborne, Head of OpenAI for Countries, and Jack Chambers, Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, will discuss how to close the gap between what advanced AI systems can do and how people, businesses and public institutions use them. The conversation will cover the skills, investment and leadership needed to put AI to work, build new businesses and improve public services.

It will consider how governments and businesses can work together to build public confidence and ensure AI usage across public services to expand services and opportunities for people and communities across the continent.
