Virtual Event: Global 1:1 Networking Session

# Networking

About the Session:

The OpenAI Forum is a dynamic and growing community of 21,000 people from diverse professional backgrounds drawn together by a shared interest in artificial intelligence. We're excited to give members the chance to get to know each other better at a virtual networking session at 9 AM PT. This event is for members, guests please complete your profile and request an invite so we can get in touch.

We recently surveyed the community and learned that 75% of respondents are based in the Americas, while the remaining 25% span Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This reflects the rapid growth of our international presence. To support global inclusivity, we used ChatGPT to find a time that suits the largest number of participants.

This event will gather professionals from diverse backgrounds who are integrating AI and related technologies into their work in fields like research, software engineering, and education. Designed to spark collaboration and exchange ideas, the format includes multiple networking rounds that promote meaningful one-on-one conversations and lasting professional relationships.

Here are a few icebreaker questions

  1. What first drew you into the world of AI or tech?
  2. Was there a specific moment or influence that sparked your interest in your field?
  3. Looking back over the past few years of your career, how would you say your career has evolved, especially as AI has accelerated?
  4. What’s something you’re learning right now, either personally or professionally, that’s challenging or exciting?
  5. As we look ahead, what’s one thing that excites you most about the future of AI?
