Hi everyone! My name is Brian, a founder by heart, and an Executive Chair at VLAB - a Non-Profit that connects entrepreneurs, founders, industry experts, and investors with disruptive ideas and technologies that create opportunities since the 1990's. One of our upcoming panel events is in the Future of Drug Discovery which I've had the pleasure to ask leading Biotech companies questions I think where important in how pioneering Generative AI models are directly shaping Novel Drug Design, Clinical Trials and everything inbetween. 

These were the questions I asked, and would love to hear your thoughts and questions and wanted to share them with the forum!

When could we see the first Phase 3 Clinical drug candidate developed completely by Generative AI?

Compute is in historically huge demand, although Quantum (superconducting qubit tech) is approaching, what approach are you taking on the Hardware side that will pave the way to building your drug discovery pipeline?

From a VC perspective how should we think about Asset vs Platform vs Partner vs CRO?

What are pioneering companies’ approaches to using Generative AI to invent new drug candidates?

AI/ML is baked into 1000s of tools, not monolithic. Where is most exciting application areas?

What challenges and limitations remain in AI-driven drug discovery? (ex. perspective on data, library's) 

How are pharmaceutical companies and startups collaborating to accelerate AI-driven innovation around drug discoveries?

Nobel Prize winners like Demis Hassabis and John Jumper of DeepMind, along with Professor David Baker from the University of Washington where experts more in computation than Chemistry or Biology - what are the values from each perspective and do we see a serious shift from HTS and other traditional approaches? 

Who do you see as major competitors in drug development? Do you view HTS as a competitive technology?

How can startups navigate FDA evaluation of AI-driven drug discovery approaches?
