I'm thrilled to give an early share of our pre-launch video for NeuroNavi, a speech-to-speech AI powered platform that was built alongside my students to reimagine education in the modern era. As many others in this space are aware, we are seeing a crisis of disconnected and disengaged students that by and large view emerging technologies like AI as a means to automate away their critical thinking faculties and get assignments done.

Well, we want to go in a different direction. We want to leverage AI to bring human centered values like joy and creativity into education in an innovative way that empowers students to build their own experiences. We've completely rethought the assessment process from the ground up so that it centers on things that will actually prepare our students for an uncertain technologically driven future such as creativity, social skills and thoughtful use of AI. It was a blast getting to work together with my Gateway Academy kids on this, and they were of course my core inspiration.

Hoping this will encourage others to work together within their communities when building their own tools!
