About the Session:

The OpenAI Forum is a dynamic and growing community of 21,000 people from diverse professional backgrounds drawn together by a shared interest in artificial intelligence. We're excited to give members the chance to get to know each other better at a virtual networking session at 9 AM PT. We recently surveyed the community and learned that 75% of respondents are based in the Americas, while the remaining 25% span Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This reflects the rapid growth of our international presence. To support global inclusivity, we used ChatGPT to find a time that suits the largest number of participants.

This event will gather professionals from diverse backgrounds who are integrating AI and related technologies into their work in fields like research, software engineering, and education. Designed to spark collaboration and exchange ideas, the format includes multiple networking rounds that promote meaningful one-on-one conversations and lasting professional relationships.

About the Speaker:

Mehul Smriti Raje is the Applied ML Lead at Coactive AI, where she is spearheading the development of an enterprise-grade Multimodal AI Platform for unstructured media. Her work centers on advancing video representation and understanding to power applications like intelligent search, automated tagging, and rich content analytics.With a track record that spans Google, Nuro, and the MIT Media Lab, Mehul brings deep expertise in both applied machine learning and cutting-edge research. She holds a Master’s in Computational Science from Harvard University, where she specialized in Brain-Computer Interaction, combining neuroscience, machine learning, and human-centered design.
